Announcing the Newly Appointed Co-Chairs for the Residential Board of Directors and the RLS Board of Directors
January 28, 2019
We are pleased to announce the following newly appointed co-chairs for the Residential Brokerage Board of Directors and RLS Board of Directors: Elizabeth Ann Stribling-Kivlan as the newly elected Residential Board of Directors Co-Chair and Clelia Warburg Peters as the newly elected RLS Board of Directors Co-Chair.
These two dynamic women will join our leadership in charting our association’s activities and policies, engaging in continuous collaboration with our elected committees, and consulting on REBNY’s positions and actions on issues concerning the residential real estate industry.
Elizabeth Ann Stribling
REBNY Residential Board of Directors Co-Chair
As President, Elizabeth Ann Stribling-Kivlan works closely with her mother, founder Elizabeth F. Stribling who 2018 was presented with the Bernard H. Mendik Lifetime Leadership for her outstanding achievements to civic service and leadership in New York. Elizabeth senior also served as a co-chair for the Residential Board of Directors in 1983. Elizabeth oversees the daily activities of the firm. After two years as an assistant to a top producer at Pacific Union GMAC in San Francisco, Elizabeth joined Stribling in 2003 as a salesperson, where she immediately knew she had found her calling.
A graduate of the Chapin School and College of the Holy Cross with a BA in world religions, Elizabeth shares her mother’s commitment to philanthropy: she serves on the national leadership council of GLSEN, is on the board of the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy and was formerly Vice Chair of the board of the New York City Anti-Violence Project. She also enjoys traveling, cooking, and art. Elizabeth will co-chair with Michael Bisordi from Tungsten Property.
Clelia Warburg Peters
RLS Board of Directors Co-Chair
Clelia Warburg Peters joined Warburg Realty in 2014 and currently serves as President of the firm, bringing experience in strategic business development, cutting edge technology, and investing to her role. Clelia works closely with her father, CEO Frederick Warburg Peters, in managing and growing one of New York's oldest and most respected real estate brokerages.
In 2015 Clelia co-founded MetaProp, a PropTech accelerator that has evolved into a $40 million seed stage venture fund focused exclusively on real estate technology. MetaProp has collectively invested in 50+ companies across the full real estate value chain which have raised over $2 billion and employ more than 1,500 people internationally. As one of the few female leaders in the PropTech space, Clelia is passionate about inclusion and believes strongly in the power of women to shift paradigms of leadership and success in the 21st century.
Prior to joining Warburg, Clelia worked in partnership with noted business leader Sallie Krawcheck on a technology enabled business concept focused on work opportunities for women and was a Management Consultant with the Boston Consulting Group. Clelia is a member of the NY Metro chapter of YPO (Young Presidents Organization), and of C200, the preeminent global organization for women business leaders. She holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from Yale University.
